April 30, 2021, Denver, CO – UECompression (UEC), the nation’s premier custom gas compressor packager, instrument air packager and leading compressed air distributor for the Rocky Mountain region is pleased to announce two strategic leadership hires. Mike Cornelius joins UEC as Chief Financial Officer and Greg Herman as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Mike has a strong background in strategic and operational finance with 15 years experience managing accounting, multi-entity FP&A and international treasury for enterprise level organizations. He’s led ERP conversions, acquisition integrations and restructuring of companies from $50M to $1.5B in annual revenue. Mike holds an MS in Finance from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
“We brought Mike in to help lead and accelerate UEC’s anticipated growth over the next few years. His leadership skills and proven ability to build high performing teams for companies in growth mode are exactly what UEC needs in this next phase,” shared CEO Tom Carney. 
Greg Herman is an industry veteran with more than 20 years experience in the compression sector. He built his career working with the top companies in the field. He started out with UEC and is now returning to UEC in a senior leadership role. In the years between, Greg held senior roles in Business Development and Sales at BCCK Holding Company and Innio Group, while serving on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of GPA.
