UE Compression Announces Death of Chief Executive Officer Jay Holden
Henderson, CO – UEC, LLC (“UE Compression”) announced today that Jay Holden, Chief Executive Officer, has died from a tragic accident while riding his bicycle near Carter Lake in Colorado.
“Jay was an exceptional leader, mentor, father, husband and human being” said Jim Stanley, Aftermarket Sales Leader of UE Compression and long-time colleague of Holden. “Jay was a strong competitor who hated to lose, but Jay’s winning was never at the expense of others. His work ethic was unmatched, both in business and on his bike and he will be missed by all of us.”
“Jay’s impact at UE Compression was significant in a relatively short period of time and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him” said Tom Carney, Operating Partner at Lion Equity. “Our deepest condolences go out to his family during this very difficult time.”
Jay joined UE Compression in March 2016 after nearly 20 years in the energy sector, where he held roles at Enginuity, General Electric and Dresser Rand.
